Delamere Park is a parkland residential estate developed in the 1970/80s in a delightful location, surrounded by beautiful Cheshire countryside.
Delamere Park Management Limited (DPML) is the not-for-profit organisation that oversees the running of the private facilities including the swimming pool, squash courts, tennis courts, bar, as well as managing the local amenity lands. DPML is run by a board of volunteer Trustees, all of whom live on the Park. The company is community focused and prioritises maintaining the private facilities and Park land for the ongoing enjoyment of the local residents.
Delamere Park is an exclusive and sought-after housing development. The estate is built on land which made up the old Wilbraham estate, established in 1784 when the wealthy and powerful Wilbrahams moved the family seat from Nantwich to Cuddington. The Wilbraham property, named Delamere Lodge, was one of the largest houses in the district and survived until just before the Second World War, when the last George Wilbraham built Delamere Manor, a property which still stands nearby to the Delamere Park Estate.
During the Second world war, Delamere Park became an army transit camp, occupied first by British troops and then by thousands of Americans prior to the D-Day invasion. After the war the former army huts were used to house local people on the Northwich Rural District Council’s housing list including many people who were relatives of serving Polish soldiers.

With an indoor swimming pool, squash courts, function room and bar, the Clubhouse building is the hub of the local community. The function room is host to many social activities throughout the year including regular Community Group events, fitness classes and private celebrations.
Next to the Clubhouse building are tennis courts and the Children's play area, with the larger estate boasting many tree lined footpaths as well as the central Green.
